Our Story — Family-owned dumpster rental in southern Missouri since 2021.

Junk It Roll Offs started in 2021, when Devon Mortensen founded the company out of Fordland, Missouri. It has been family-owned and family-operated from the first load to today.

The idea was simple: give people a straightforward, straight-priced, reliable way to clear out and reclaim their space. No vague delivery windows, no surprise charges at pickup, no call center. Just a clean container dropped where you asked for it, when you asked for it.

We treat every job like it's for a neighbor — because most of the time, it is. That approach is why nearly 4 in 10 of our customers are repeat customers, and why we now serve more than 140 communities across southern Missouri, with Ava, Seymour, Springfield, Marshfield, and Branson as our anchor markets.

In Devon's words

I started Junk It Roll Offs back in 2021 with one dump trailer and a simple belief: people around here deserve an easier, more honest way to clear out. I was tired of seeing folks get the runaround — vague delivery windows, surprise fees, a phone tree instead of a person. So I built the opposite. You call, you talk to me or my family, you get a straight price, and a clean dumpster shows up where and when we said it would.

This is a family business in every sense — my family runs it, and southern Missouri is home. I've dropped dumpsters down gravel roads and up driveways the big national companies won't even attempt, because these aren't just customers to me — they're neighbors. When the truck pulls away, I want you to feel like the whole thing was easy, like you called someone you can trust. That's the company I set out to build, and it's the one we still run today.
